Geetha Thampi

Geetha Thampi is a seasoned firmware engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications and audio industries. Currently employed at Inphi Corporation since March 2019 and at Infinera since March 2016 as a senior firmware engineer, Geetha specializes in firmware sub-module design, coding, integration, and troubleshooting of advanced optical line modules. Previous roles include audio DSP engineer at HARMAN International, focusing on automotive infotainment systems, and senior software engineer at Motorola Solutions, leading the design and integration of digital communication protocols. Geetha's career began as an embedded software engineer at Motorola, where audio signal processing was a key responsibility, and prior experience includes research and development at Convergent Engineering. Geetha holds an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, an MTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Calicut.
