Irene Leung

Irene Leung is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Lumentum since December 2021. Prior to this role, Irene has held various positions at Infinera since June 2008, including Principal Development Engineer and Sr. Manager/Manager. Irene has a background in Optical and Hardware Engineering, with experience in coordinating customer demonstrations, conducting transmission experiments, verifying optical network solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Irene has also worked at Cisco Systems as an Optical/Hardware Engineer and started their career as a Co-op student at Nortel. Irene holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa.
