Lee Dardis

Lee Dardis has more than 20 years of experience in the field of engineering with a focus on optical design. Lee began their career at Alcatel as an Optical Design Engineer and later worked at Nortel Networks as an Optical Design Engineer. In 2000, they joined Big Bear Networks as an Optical Design Engineer and worked there for 5 years. Lee then worked at Finisar as a Product Engineer for 2 years before moving on to Stratalight Communications as an Engineer. After that, they worked at Opnext as a Senior Optical Design Engineer for 4 years and then joined OCLARO as a Principal Engineer for a little over a year. In 2013, they joined JDSU as a Principal Engineer and in 2014, they joined Infinera as a Principal Engineer. Lee was later promoted to Senior Principal Engineer at Infinera in 2020.

Lee Dardis began their education in 1991 at Dublin City University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics with Electronics. Lee completed this program in 1995. Following their undergraduate studies, Lee continued their education at Dublin City University and enrolled in the Center for Laser Plasma Research. Lee obtained a Master of Science degree from this program in 1998.
