Tim Wong

Tim Wong has worked in various roles since 2014. In 2014, they worked as an AT&T Brand Ambassador for Word of Mouth Staff. In 2016, they worked as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET). During this time, they collaborated with Japanese Teachers of English to develop lesson plans and team-taught over 21 classes per week to 708+ students over three grade levels. Tim also provided extra guidance to struggling students and acted as a cultural ambassador to share US culture. In 2018, they worked as a Sales Representative for NCI MFG Inc. In 2019, they worked as a Software Developer for BASF at Collabera Inc. and as a Teaching Assistant for Intro To Coding at Grand Circus. Since 2021, they have been working as a Software Engineer for BASF and will continue in this role until 2022 when they transition to a Software Engineer role at Infinicept.

Tim Wong attended Purdue University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Management, General and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Japanese Language and Literature. In 2014, they attended City University of Hong Kong for Business Administration and Management, General. In 2019, they obtained a Non-degree Program in Front End Development from Grand Circus. Additionally, they have obtained a AWS Technical Essential from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020 and a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 from The Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchange and Services in December 2017.
