Yair Hershko

Yair Hershko has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Yair currently holds the position of VP Products at Infinidat since 2022. Previously, they were the Co-Founder and CTO of Zadara from 2011 to 2022, where they oversaw Edge Cloud Services technology vision and strategy. Before that, they co-founded and served as the VP Engineering at Zadara, where they led the architecture and development of an innovative Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS) platform.

Prior to their roles at Zadara, Yair worked at LSI, an Avago Technologies Company, as the Sr. Director of SW Engineering from 2006 to 2011. In this role, they were responsible for integrating StoreAge core virtualization and data management technology into LSI Engenio external storage systems. Yair also worked at StoreAge from 2001 to 2006, where they served as the Director of R&D and QA, leading the software architecture, design, development, and release for all StoreAge products.

Yair's early work experience includes serving as a Software Development Manager at Medivision from 1997 to 2001. In this role, they managed the software team for a multidisciplinary medical imaging system provider.

Throughout their career, Yair has showcased their expertise in technology vision, strategy development, architecture, design, development, and management of engineering organizations. Yair has successfully led the delivery of high-performance, scalable storage solutions for both enterprise and cloud service providers.

Yair Hershko completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1997.
