Mohammed Zakari

Mohammed Zakari has held a variety of roles in the software engineering and web development fields. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer for Infinitas Learning Holding B.V. Prior to that, they were a Frontend Engineer for Tidy from 2021. From 2017 to 2021, they were the Head of Projects at Codetrain, where they consulted with clients and oversaw small development teams to deliver high quality software that met clients requirements. Mohammed was also a Senior Teaching Fellow (Bootcamp Instructor) at Codetrain, where they mentored and trained more than 120 trainee developers yearly in Africa to start their careers in Software development. From 2018 to 2021, they were the Lead UX Designer at the Accra Environment and Waste Startupweekend, where they led design sprints to produce a viable solution to some environmental waste problems. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Frontend Web Developer at Sleekjob, where they redesigned the company's website to be more SEO friendly which improved site traffic by more than 75%. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Graphic Design Instructor at Global Institute of Technology, where they taught students design principles and how to apply them in solving design problems.

Mohammed Zakari has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Engineering from Ghana Technology University College, which they obtained between 2013 and 2017. In 2016 and 2017, they also obtained a Certificate in Web Development from Codetrain. Mohammed has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including React: Authentication (April 2022), Critical Thinking (March 2022), JavaScript: Test-Driven Development (ES6) (March 2022), Programming Foundations: Design Patterns (March 2022), React: Design Patterns (March 2022), React: Software Architecture (March 2022), React: Testing and Debugging (March 2022), Software Architecture: Patterns for Developers (March 2022), Software Design: Code and Design Smells (March 2022). Additionally, they obtained a Frontend Web Development certification from Codetrain in November 2017.
