Meredith Hodges

Meredith Hodges is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governmental affairs and human resources. Currently serving as the Governmental Affairs Manager at Gas South since January 2006, Meredith oversees the company’s relationships with key regulatory and legislative partners after previously holding the position of VP of HR and External Affairs. Prior experience includes roles at Southern Company as Key Accounts Manager, Supervisor of the Business Call Center, and Human Resources Business Representative, where Meredith contributed to organizational effectiveness and culture transformation. Early career experiences at Southern Company also encompassed staffing analysis and marketing initiatives. Meredith holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies from Washington and Lee University.
