Esen Girit Tümer

Esen Girit Tümer has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Esen is currently serving as the Vice President & Independent Executive Board Member at Medicana Sağlık Grubu since April 2021. Prior to this, they were the CEO & Co-founder of Infinitech Technology Company, where they worked on developing smart wearables. In 2020, they also founded Essential Evolutions, a start-up focused on artificial intelligence. From 2017 to 2020, they held the position of CEO at Medtronic. Before that, they worked at Philips, first as General Manager Middle East & Turkey B2G and later as General Manager and Country Commercial Director. Esen also served as the Country Manager at Tyco from 2000 to 2008. Esen Girit Tümer began their career at Johnson & Johnson as a Regional Sales Manager and later worked as a Project Manager at Microsoft.

Esen Girit Tümer's education history includes several notable institutions and degrees. In 1995 to 1996, they pursued a Post Graduate degree at UCLA, where they focused on obtaining an MBA. Subsequently, in 2018 to 2019, they attended Harvard University for a Professional Development Program in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Continuing their education, in 2019 Esen Girit Tümer enrolled in Columbia University for an Executive Diploma Programme specifically focused on IoT Smart Wearables. Lastly, in 2022, they pursued further executive education at Stanford University, completing the Executive Education Diploma Programme in Visions of the Future: Artificial Intelligence, Cryptocurrency, the Metaverse, and Beyond.
