Lina Colucci, PhD has held a variety of roles in the fields of engineering, data science, and business. In 2021, they became a Co-Founder of Infinity AI, Inc. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Board Member and Co-Founder & Partner at Edge Analytics Inc., a consulting firm specializing in data science, machine learning, and algorithm development. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Data Science Advisor for CIONIC. From 2014 to 2018, they were the Co-Director and Member of MIT Hacking Medicine, a healthcare innovation organization. From 2013 to 2014, they were a PhD Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they developed algorithms for a novel hydration sensor. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Researcher at Duke University, where they worked in the Orthopaedic Bioengineering Laboratory to develop novel cartilage-derived matrix scaffolds. In 2011, they were a Product Creation employee at Nike. From 2005 to 2006, they were the Co-Founder and Inventor of Colucci DANZA, a ballet shoe company. During this time, they worked with advisors from IDEO to conduct user- and consumer insights-research. Finally, from 2006 to 2011, they were a Clarinet Instructor at the Clarinet Studio.

Lina Colucci, PhD completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University from 2008 to 2012. During this time they also attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where they studied Music, Economics and Creative Writing. In 2011, they completed a 6-month exchange student program at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Product Design and Biomechanics. From 2012 to 2018, they attended both Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics.
