Christi Caramia

Christi Caramia has extensive experience in the field of facilities management and environmental health and safety. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Senior Health and Safety Technician at OHM Corporation, where they demonstrated leadership skills and trained other technicians. From 1997 to 1999, they served as an Environmental Health & Safety Assistant at UMB, conducting investigations and surveys. Christi then joined the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) as an Industrial Hygienist IV from 1999 to 2001, where they conducted inspections and oversaw safety programs. As Director EHS at Loyola University Maryland from 2001 to 2010, they administered various safety and compliance programs. Christi then worked as an EHS Consultant at SpectrumEHS from 2010 to 2011 and as an Associate Director Operations at Lundbeck Research USA from 2011 to 2014. At Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, they served as a Facilities Manager from 2014 to 2022, managing facility operations and security systems for various locations. Currently, Christi holds the position of Director Of Facilities at Sampled, where they direct maintenance teams and manages various software platforms for facility management.

Christi Caramia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Cook College, Rutgers University, obtained between 1989 and 1993. Additionally, they have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from Loyola University Maryland, completed between 2006 and 2009. Christi Caramia also possesses various certifications, including being an Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certified by Cintas in October 2021.
