John Sever

From 1995 to 1999, John worked at Cox Automation as a Project Manager, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring the successful concept, design, and manufacture of custom assembly and test equipment. John expertly balanced the creativity of engineers with customer expectations, focusing on system layouts, operator ergonomics, and equipment maintainability.

At Wes-Tech Automation from 2000 to 2005, John served as a Mechanical Engineer responsible for executing custom assembly and test equipment projects. John designed mechanical layouts, generated assembly drawings, and created bills of materials. John enjoyed the freedom and evolution that came with designing equipment from scratch.

Next, from 2005 to 2014, John joined Genesis Automation as an Applications Engineer, leveraging their knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems to conceptualize and quote custom assembly equipment for various high-tech industries. John excelled in applying proven technologies to solve unique problems and developed custom solutions for complex challenges.

John then moved to BBS Automation Chicago from 2014 to 2015, where they served as a Group Leader, Applications Engineering. Their role involved helping large companies implement global platforms and designing and building equipment for global manufacturing. John faced the ever-changing challenges of manufacturing products in multiple countries.

From 2015 to 2020, John worked at BBS Automation as an Applications Engineering Manager. John successfully managed applications engineering projects, ensuring the timely delivery of custom solutions and providing technical expertise.

Most recently, John joined PaR Systems in 2020 as the Director of Applications. Their leadership skills were instrumental in managing applications projects, and they contributed to the company's successful growth and development.

Starting in 2023, John will join Infinity Robotics LLC as an Engineering Manager. This role will allow him to further expand their leadership and management skills in the engineering field.
