Bharath Thotakura

Bharath Thotakura has worked as a Quantum Software Engineer at Infleqtion since March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University from August 2021 to June 2022, where they facilitated one-on-one lab problem solving and provided guidance on scientific writing. Bharath also taught general physics labs and assisted with experiments. As a Masters Student at Stony Brook University from August 2020 to May 2022, Bharath extensively used Python for quantum simulations, data analysis, and data visualization. Bharath analyzed distributed quantum networks and studied measurement-based quantum computation. Additionally, they worked as a Research Project Assistant at Stony Brook University from June 2021 to August 2021.

Bharath Thotakura completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Wayne State University between 2018 and 2020. Bharath then pursued a Master's degree in Physics from Stony Brook University, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In 2021, Bharath participated in the 2021 Qiskit Global Summer School on Quantum Machine Learning, where they received a Certificate of Quantum Excellence. Additionally, in August 2021, they earned a certification called International Quantum Summer Summit from the Stony Brook University School of Professional Development.
