Emma Platt

Emma Platt is a Program Manager at InfluenceMap, where they oversee the Japan Energy Transition Initiative (JETI). Prior to their current role, Emma was a Funding Development Officer at Carbon Tracker and a Sustainable Development Education Programme Lead at The Crichton Carbon Centre. Emma has also held positions with the 2050 Climate Group Scotland and The Crichton Carbon Centre.

Emma Platt has a Master of Science in Environmental Management (Wildlife and Landscape Conservation) from Sheffield Hallam University, a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from The University of Sheffield, and an Advanced Placement in Higher Biology, Higher Physics, Higher Chemistry, and Higher Statistics from International School of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo. Emma is certified by The Chartered Institution of Waste Management in Waste Awareness.

Emma Platt reports to Dylan Tanner, Executive Director. and Monica Nagashima - Engagement Manager Asia reports to Emma Platt. They work with Joe Brooks - Senior Analyst, Simon Cullen - Communications Manager, and Chris Hurst - Technical Director.
