Ali Ghodsi is currently an advisor at InfluxData. Ali was previously a software engineer intern at InfluxData from May 2021 to August 2021. There, they wrote API beta tests for different services, created scripts to generate tokens properly in order to run the API tests, extracted a service from a service monolith, experimented with canary testing on services, and participated in a week-long hackathon project to build a COVID-19 tracking application on InfluxDB cloud. Ali also participated in weekly Scrum meetings.

Before their internship at InfluxData, Ali was a software engineering researcher at Alt-code Lab - NC State University from May 2020 to October 2021. There, they investigated canary analysis as a replacement for conventional software testing (NodeJS, Ansible, Java), and reviewed papers on API Testing, Regression Testing, Automated Regression Testing, Regression Testing REST APIs, and Behavioral Regression Testing.

Ali has also been an English teacher at Roshangar Elementary School from September 2016 to May 2018, and Banoo Amin Elementary School from September 2014 to June 2016.

Lastly, Ali was a web developer at Hasin Group from August 2014 to July 2018.

Ali Ghodsi has a Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Ali also attended Roshangar.
