Will Cooke

Will Cooke has been working in the technology industry since 1994. Will began their career as a Support Engineer at Acorn Computers. Will then moved to CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation as an IT Engineer in 1998. In 2000, they became a Senior Network Services Engineer at Cambridgeshire Constabulary. In 2007, they took on the role of Support Manager at Bridge Partners. In 2009, they were appointed as Consultancy Manager at Parallel. In 2011, they became Product Strategy Engineering Manager at Canonical Ltd. and in 2013 they became Manager of Frontend at iDirect. In 2014, they returned to Canonical Ltd. as Director of Ubuntu Desktop and in 2019 they became Director of Engineering at InfluxData.

Will Cooke obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from Nottingham Trent between 1994 and 1997. Will also holds certifications from the Scrum Alliance (Certified ScrumMaster, obtained in January 2014), DBS NSV (SC Security Clearance, obtained in February 2003), Cisco (Cisco Certified Network Associate), ISEB (IT Service Management (ITIL)), CESG - Communications Electronics Security Group (Information Security), Microsoft (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert), Novell (Novell Network Management and Novell eDirectory), and Cambridgeshire Constabulary (Recruitment & Selection).
