Stephen Johnson

Principal Design Strategist at InfoBeans

Stephen Johnson's work experience begins in 1996 as a Graphic Services Intern at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Stephen worked in the graphic services department, designing educational materials and supporting visuals.

In 2002, Johnson worked as a Production Designer at The University of Georgia Press, where they designed book interiors and jackets, typeset pages, and prepared production estimates.

From 2003 to 2007, Johnson worked as a Senior Designer at One Tribe Creative, designing identities, packaging, websites, and ad campaigns for clients focused on renewable energy and sustainable causes.

Starting in 2008, Johnson became the Head of Design at 3TIER, where they developed the corporate brand's visual identity system, website, advertising, and marketing collateral for renewable energy projects.

From 2013 to 2015, Johnson worked as a Senior Design Director at Brand Fever, collaborating with the creative director and account team to create brand identities for a range of clients.

Johnson then joined Kabbage, Inc. in 2015 as the Director of Brand Design. Stephen built and led an in-house design team, refreshed the corporate brand and website, developed ad campaigns, and supported various internal departments.

Most recently, Johnson joined InfoBeans in 2022 as a Principal Design Strategist.

Stephen Johnson pursued their education at the Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2020 to 2022, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Strategic Design & Management. Prior to that, they attended The University of Georgia from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Graphic Design.
