Andrea Tesoniero

Andrea Tesoniero is a Data Scientist at Infocube since November 2022, bringing a strong background in geophysics and numerical modeling. Prior to this role, Andrea served as a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University from January 2017 to September 2018, focusing on numerical modeling of 3D forward seismic wave propagation in anisotropic Earth models. During the Ph.D. program at the University of Copenhagen from March 2012 to March 2016, Andrea worked on developing a new global tomographic model of shear and compressional wave speed for the mantle. Previous experience includes a temporary research assistant position at the University of Naples Federico II, where Andrea specialized in applied seismology and environmental geophysics. Andrea holds multiple Master's degrees in Applied Geophysics from ETH Zürich, Delft University of Technology, and RWTH Aachen University, and a Laurea in Scienze Geologiche from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
