Dr. Prathmesh Madhu

Dr. Prathmesh Madhu has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and computer vision. Dr. Prathmesh currently holds the position of Technical Lead - Machine Learning at Infocusp Innovations, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a researcher and a PhD student at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 2018 to 2023, where they focused on scene understanding in Iconographics. Dr. Prathmesh'swork involved building deep learning models for tasks such as image similarity, object detection, and pose estimation. Dr. Madhu also has experience as a Machine Learning Researcher at Infocusp Innovations from 2016 to 2018, where they implemented a CV recommendation system. Dr. Prathmesh completed their masters thesis on deep learning-based image super-resolution at DA-IICT from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, Dr. Madhu worked as a teaching assistant and graduate teaching assistant during their time at DA-IICT. Prior to their academic pursuits, they served as a course instructor at Jharna Tuition Class from 2011 to 2014.

Dr. Prathmesh Madhu completed their education in a chronological order. Dr. Prathmesh obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, which they completed from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Information and Communication Technology from DA-IICT, from 2014 to 2016. Dr. Prathmesh also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from LD College of Engineering, completed from 2010 to 2014. Dr. Prathmesh'ssecondary education was completed at Best Higher Secondary School, where they obtained an Intermediate degree in Science from 1995 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Convolutional Neural Networks and Structuring Machine Learning Projects from Coursera, as well as certifications in Neural Networks and Deep Learning and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera Course Certificates.
