Vishal Karanwal currently serves as the Head of Europe Business at Infomap Global, where responsibilities include developing corporate business strategies throughout Europe and designing the UK market entry strategy. Previously, in roles at HSBC spanning from August 2015 to April 2023, Karanwal successfully managed and grew the international corporate banking business in Malaysia, increasing HSBC's market share significantly. Prior to HSBC, experience at Citi encompassed multiple leadership positions, including Director & Business Development Head for Asia Pacific Corporate Banking, where Karanwal was instrumental in driving substantial revenue growth and client acquisition in emerging markets. Earlier career milestones include implementing significant sales management initiatives at Citibank and executing a pioneering data warehouse project for ICICI Prudential. Academically, Karanwal holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and has completed an Executive Training Program in Leadership at London Business School.
