George Follis

George Follis is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in various positions across multiple organizations. Currently a Senior Java Developer and Team Lead at Infor since June 2011, following the acquisition of PeopleAnswers in January 2014, Follis contributes to Infor's Talent Science software, aimed at enhancing employee performance and reducing turnover rates. Prior to Infor, Follis worked at NEC Corporation from October 1990 to June 2011 as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on the integration of legacy and new applications using Java. Follis began a career in software engineering at Docutel/Olivetti from February 1984 to January 1987, specializing in correcting errors in Automated Teller Systems, and also served as a Software Test Engineer at DSC Communications from January 1987 to October 1990, developing testing systems for operating system calls. Follis holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science from East Texas State University and Texas A&M University-Commerce, both earned between 1980 and 1983.
