Lee Marana

Lee Marana, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Health IT Content at Informa Markets since January 2024, focusing on the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition. In addition to this role, Lee is involved with the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services as a member of the Community Information Exchange Advisory Committee and serves as a Health IT Commissioner, appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Lee holds a position on the Interoperability & HIE Committee at HIMSS and contributes as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Health Informatics Program at the University of Denver. Lee is also a Board Member of the Health Informatics Advisory Board at Michigan Technological University, the Michigan Healthcare Cybersecurity Council, and the U.P. Cybersecurity Institute. Furthermore, Lee has an extensive background in leadership within HIMSS Michigan Chapter, holding multiple president roles. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Michigan Technological University and a Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics from the University of South Florida.
