Georgia Hood has over a decade of experience in account management and business development within the tech and finance sectors. Currently serving as Account Manager for the Africa Tech Festival at Informa Tech since July 2019, Georgia also held the role of Business Development Manager for the Service Provider Brand & Demand. Prior to this, a position as Commercial Manager at Aspermont Limited highlighted Georgia's expertise in the global mining sector. Georgia's career at Informa Connect - Finance spanned from December 2010 to December 2018, culminating in the role of Head of Sales for the RiskMinds and QuantMinds portfolios, where duties included managing commercial opportunities in financial risk management. Georgia holds a degree in History from the University of Sussex and completed education at Esher College and Waldegrave School.
