Katie Tirschel

Katie Tirschel has extensive experience in event operations and management. Katie worked at Informa Markets from 2007 to 2022, holding various roles such as Senior Event Operations Manager and Event Operations Coordinator. In these positions, they managed multiple national trade shows, overseeing budgets, vendor relationships, and logistics. Katie also led a team of up to 15 onsite staff and implemented employee engagement initiatives. Additionally, Katie was involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion groups and launched a company-wide virtual volunteer program. Prior to Informa Markets, they worked as a National Scheduling Coordinator at Fox Sports Net from 2005 to 2007. Currently, Katie is an Event Delivery Director at Informa Tech starting in 2022.

Katie Tirschel, CEM holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications - Public Relations from Washington State University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications including the Virtual Events Institute Professional (VEIP) from the Virtual Events Institute - VEI in April 2021 and the Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) in January 2021.
