Megan Selva has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Megan began their career in 2006 as a Member Services Representative at Informa Tech and gradually moved up the ladder. Megan held various positions at Informa Tech, including Training Courseware Editor, Contract Editor, and Senior Editor. In these roles, they managed content strategies, developed digital programs, optimized content strategies, and collaborated with stakeholders.
In 2014, Megan became a Lecturer at George Washington University, where they shared their expertise with students. Additionally, they worked as an Acquisition and Production Intern at Paradigm Publishers in 2008 and as a Managing and Review Editor at the University of Guelph from 2004-2005.
Megan's most recent role was as Director, Content and Training at Informa Tech, where they directed all content strategies, developed digital programs, optimized content strategy, and managed relationships with contributors and internal partners.
Megan Selva has a diverse education history. Megan holds a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree in Publishing from The George Washington University. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History at the University of Guelph. Megan'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied both History and Molecular Biology. Alongside their formal education, Megan has also obtained additional certifications, including a Data-Driven Journey Green Belt certification from Informa, which they achieved in September 2022. In November 2019, they also received a certification in Event Planning Foundations from LinkedIn.
