About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach within the Cosmos ecosystem and beyond. This position requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the crypto, tokenomics, and protocol landscape, capable of bridging technical concepts with strategic business development initiatives. You will be instrumental in profiling and onboarding key partners, crafting compelling narratives alongside our product and marketing teams, and fostering community engagement through insightful research and content creation.

What your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Lead initiatives to bring in projects to use the Cosmos Hub’s security and other offerings and grow the ecosystem around the Cosmos Hub.

  • Collaborate with product and marketing leads to develop winning narratives around our product roadmap and offerings.

  • Research and write engaging content that simplifies complex topics for prospective audiences.

  • Engage with ecosystem projects to establish partnerships with users of the Cosmos Hub’s products.

  • Share ecosystem insights gained from your business development work, contributing to the team’s understanding of the industry landscape.

  • Facilitate community feedback to improve and innovate product features and concepts championed by the Cosmos community and Informal Systems.

  • Add to and manage a comprehensive database of leads

What we look for in a successful Business Development Lead:

  • Background in finance, economics, or computer science, with a preference for experience in VC, risk management, game theory, DEXes, security/protocol design, or smart contracts.

  • Experience in establishing partnerships in blockchain, understanding how to structure win-win deals

  • Strong knowledge of the current crypto / tokenomics / protocol landscape and an ability to understand technical concepts and assess their potential outcomes.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills & ability to identify, pursue and close complex partnerships

  • Excellent content writing skills with the ability to engage a diverse audience.

  • Independent worker with strong team collaboration skills.

About Informal & the Cosmos Hub
