Nipuna Senanayake is a Senior Lecturer at the Informatics Institute of Technology since January 2022, following experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia State University from November 2019 to December 2022, with research interests in privacy-preserved machine learning and trustworthy AI. Prior roles include Software Engineer at IgnitionOne, where responsibilities involved data flow management and development of data pipelines, and Software Developer at Turner Broadcasting System, focusing on web analytics. Nipuna's earlier experience includes positions as a Graduate Research Engineer at the CDC, Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University, and various software engineering roles at hSenid Business Solutions and Virtusa. Nipuna holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
