Janet Lane

Janet Lane is a seasoned professional in data protection and privacy, currently serving as a Data Protection and Privacy Project Specialist at The Information Accountability Foundation. Janet previously held the position of Director and Senior Counsel at Mastercard, leading global privacy initiatives for Commercial & SME Solutions. In addition, Janet contributed to the Data Privacy Experts Working Group at the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime and served as Global Head of Data Legal at UBS. Janet is also involved with the Women in Banking and Finance- UK, focusing on Hot Topics and Thought Leadership. Currently, Janet is pursuing further education at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, after completing studies at the University of Birmingham from 1997 to 2001.
