Laurie Powers

Laurie Powers is an accomplished board member and executive with extensive experience in governance and financial oversight. Currently serving as a Board Member for SSC Security Services Corp. and Protein Industries Canada, Powers also holds positions as the Chair of the Audit Committee at both SSC Security Services Corp. and Verdex Capital. With a strong background in finance, Powers has previously held roles such as Senior Portfolio Manager at Assiniboia Capital Corp. and Vice President of Private Investments at Harvard Developments Inc. Notable past board positions include tenure with the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club and Canterra Farmland Holdings LP. Powers possesses a Chartered Accountant designation and has completed the ICD.d program in Board Governance from the Haskayne School of Business.
