Randall Forsyth has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Randall is currently working as a Contract Engineer at Information Systems Laboratories since March 2023. Prior to this, they founded their own company called RF IMAGES LLC in August 1996, where they served as the Founder and Principal. In this role, they provided electronic engineering services, contract embedded system DSP and FPGA development, human interface design services, electronic imaging and user interface design and programming, as well as marketing technology and communications.

Randall has also worked as an Embedded Systems Contract Engineer at Fidus Systems from April 2022 to May 2023, and as a Contract FPGA Image Processing Engineer at Teledyne FLIR from November 2021 to April 2022. From December 2020 to January 2022, they served as a Principal Embedded Systems Engineer at Miltenyi Biotec.

Before that, they worked as a Principal Embedded Systems Design Engineer at WhiteFox Defense Technologies, Inc. from October 2018 to December 2020, and as a Contract Engineer at L3Harris Technologies from July 2020 to November 2020. From July 2018 to September 2020, they worked as a Design Engineer at Green Domain Design, LLC., where they designed and built a prototype thermoelectric dental device.

Randall also has experience as an Embedded Systems Contract Engineer at Teledyne Scientific & Imaging from January 2018 to May 2018, and as a Consulting SOC FPGA Design Engineer at AccuVein Inc. from June 2016 to December 2017. In these roles, they worked on various projects involving FPGA development, SOC platforms, and electromechanical control.

Randall Forsyth pursued their education in the field of engineering and technology. From 1973 to 1975, they attended California State Polytechnic University, where they focused on electronic engineering and engineering technology. Following this, Forsyth continued their studies at UC Santa Barbara from 1976 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science.
