Sandra Barbosu

Sandra Barbosu serves as the Senior Policy Manager for the Economics of Biopharmaceutical Innovation at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation since November 2023. Concurrently, Sandra holds the position of Adjunct Professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, starting in September 2019. Previously, Sandra worked as a Program Officer at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation from April 2023 to November 2023 and as a Program Associate at the same foundation from June 2018 to December 2022. Sandra earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Strategic Management from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and an MSc in Precision Cancer Medicine from the University of Oxford, along with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Rochester.
