Ian Gutterman

Ian Gutterman is the Founder and CEO of Informed Group, Inc., a company dedicated to transforming the homeowners insurance experience, currently engaged in fundraising efforts. With a strong background in finance, Ian previously served as a Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., where management of an investment portfolio focused on the insurance sector was essential, alongside co-leading the establishment of a new insurance company. Ian also held a similar role at Adage Capital Management and began career contributions as an Investment Analyst at Fidelity Investments, where various sectors, including insurance, transportation, and health care, were monitored. Early career experience includes an Analyst position at M&T Bank, supporting asset/liability risk management. Ian holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Lafayette College.
