Joanna Fregoso

Joanna Fregoso has a wealth of experience in the software engineering field. Joanna began their career in 2015 as a Full-Stack Developer at Property Matrix, where they developed new features using React, Ruby On Rails, and Postgres. Joanna also maintained a Selenium test suite through test-driven development. In the same year, they also took on the role of Instructor at Teens Exploring Technology. In 2019, they joined HITRECORD as a Staff Software Engineer, where they collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop features for ClassProjects and provided onboarding support for new hires including offshore teams. Joanna was then promoted to Senior Software Engineer. In 2022, they joined MasterClass as a Senior Software Engineer, where they implemented Full Stack features using RubyOnRails and React, and developed tests in Jest and Enzyme to ensure high quality. Joanna also joined Informed K12 in the same year as a Sr Software engineer.

Joanna Fregoso attended Loyola Marymount University from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Master's degree in Systems Engineering. Prior to that, they graduated from the University of Southern California in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
