Matt Egan

Matt Egan is the Global Editorial Director, Foundry at InfoWorld Media Group. Matt has been with IDG since April 2017 and has held the position of Editorial Director, US, UK, Middle East, & ASEAN. Matt is responsible for editorial, analytics and video across the world's number one portfolio of technology publications.

Prior to their current role, Matt was the Editor-in-Chief of IDG's Tech Advisor Group and the Editor of PC Advisor. Matt has been with IDG UK since December 2009.

Matt is a highly respected authority in the tech industry and has been recognised with numerous awards throughout their career. In 2018, they were named as one of Folio's Top Women in Media and in 2019 they won a Gold Stevie Award for Executive of the Year in Media.

The educational career for Matt Egan would be a Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama from the University of Hull.
