Raghunath K R

Raghunath K R is the Zonal Head of South for Cement & Cementitious at Infra.Market. He directs and leads the sales and execution of cementitious and allied products including AAC Blocks and Ready-mix Plaster through the retail network.

Raghunath is a visionary business leader with over 22 years of experience in leading and setting up various scalable businesses for Ready-mix Concrete and Aggregates as a P&L head in various markets across South India. He has worked across multiple functions including Strategy, Projects, and Operations. He is primarily responsible for operations and growth of the cement and cementitious business and the new ventures in Infra.Market.

Raghunath started his career as a procurement engineer with Sobha Ltd and has held leadership positions in Multinational RMC companies like Fletcher Pioneer, Fletcher Hanson, and Prism Johnson. He has led path-breaking projects and expansion plans across tier 1 and tier 2 cities pan India. One of the most noteworthy contributions was for Infosys where he established and ran successful captive plants business models along with his team. Being a cluster head, he was responsible for the turnover of 150 cr per annum. Raghunath has also closely worked with the Ministry of Mines & Geology, Govt of Karnataka for various projects.

Raghunath is an alumnus of Mysore University in Industrial & Production Engineering with extensive expertise in the heavy building & materials industry.
