Barbara Simoen

Barbara Simoen is an experienced engineer currently working as a Design & Test Engineer ETCS at Infrabel since July 2022. Prior to this role, Barbara held positions as a Medewerker at De Wassende Maan and as an R&D Engineer at MAGNAX. Barbara's career also includes experience as a Customer Adaptations Design Engineer at Volvo Group Belgium and a student job at Stad Gent, where responsibilities involved animal care and maintenance. Barbara holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Electromechanical Engineering - Mechanical Construction from Ghent University, completed in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electromechanical Engineering from the same institution, obtained in 2015.
