Pasi Joensuu

Pasi Joensuu has had a long career in the surveying and engineering industry. Pasi began their career in 1990 as a Surveying Engineer at E. M. Pekkinen Oy and AIP-Mittaus Oy. In 1992, they took on a Sales role at Huoneistovisio Oy. In 1995, they were a Surveying Engineer at MT-Survey Ltd. and AIP-Mittaus Oy. From 1996 to 2003, they worked at VR Track Ltd. in roles such as Project Engineer, Surveying Manager, and Surveying Engineer. In 2003, they became the Managing Director and CEO of Geostar Oy, where they were responsible for running the company. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Fida International in roles such as Programme Coordinator and Project Coordinator/Country Coordinator. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been at Infrakit in roles such as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Vice President of Business Development, Member of The Group Management Team, and VP of Sales. Pasi has also been a Member of the organising committee for the InfraBIM Open conference.

Pasi Joensuu began their educational journey in 1987 when they attended Mikkelin Teknillinen Oppilaitos / Mikkeli Technical Institute and earned a Maanmittausteknikko / Surveying Technician degree in 1990. Pasi then attended Mikkelin ammattikorkeakoulu / Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geodetic Calculations, IT, English, Swedish, Economy, Mathematics, Physics, Civil law, et. Pasi continued their education at the same institution from 2000 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Marketing Management. From 2010 to 2016, they attended the University of Wales and earned a Master's Degree in Deaconate and Development. Finally, they attended Helsinki Business College Oy from 2012 to 2014 and earned a Diploma in Business Management. Currently, they are attending Aalto University and is studying Business.
