David Forrester

David Forrester has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David'smost recent role was as a Project Delivery Support Officer at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA), where they started in May 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Projects Delivery Adviser at the same company from October 2017 to May 2020.

Before joining the IPA, David worked at the Independent Police Complaints Commission. David held the position of Disclosure Team Officer from October 2015 to October 2017, and prior to that, they served as an Investigation Researcher from March 2014 to October 2015. David also worked as an Administrative Assistant from September 2013 to March 2014.

David also has experience in the financial sector, having worked as a Graduate PPI Complaint Handler at Bank of America from April 2012 to May 2013.

In addition, they have undertaken internships at Tate & Lyle and Waste Recycling Group, where they served as a Company Secretary Intern. These internships took place in December 2011 and August 2011, respectively.

David Forrester attended Keele University from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and International Relations. In 2015, they pursued Project Management certifications at the University of Chester, including the PRINCE2 Practitioner and PRINCE Foundation qualifications.

In terms of additional certifications, David Forrester obtained the Confluence Fundamentals and Jira Fundamentals certifications from Atlassian in July 2021. David also completed the "Decision Making in a Complex and Uncertain World" course offered by FutureLearn in June 2020. In April 2020, they obtained the MoP® Foundation Certificate in Portfolio Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice.

Additionally, David Forrester acquired the APM Project Management Qualification in April 2018 from the Association for Project Management. David achieved the Associate level in the same month. David completed the "Business Fundamentals: Project Management" course by The Open University on FutureLearn in January 2017. In September 2016, they finished three courses: "Contract Management: Building Relationships in Business," "Management and Leadership: Growing as a Manager," and "Management and Leadership: Leading a Team" — all offered by The Open University on FutureLearn. In March 2015, David Forrester completed the "Introduction to Cyber Security" course on FutureLearn. David also holds certifications in "Contract Management: Foundation" from the Civil Service and "Systems Thinking" from UCL (short course), though specific completion dates were not provided.
