Omar Shabbir

Omar Shabbir has a diverse work experience in the field of management consulting. Omar has recently worked at Infrastructure Ontario as the Director of Growth, where they focused on developing the consulting business and providing strategic support. Prior to that, Omar worked as a Senior Advisor at Infrastructure Ontario, where they led a team in the development of a go-to-market strategy for Ontario's digital identity program. Omar also has experience working at Deloitte Canada, where they served as a Management Consultant. In this role, they supported a top North American airline in launching a loyalty program and oversaw a team for an SAP implementation at a major Canadian hospital. Omar also managed the delivery of finance work streams and identified process control failures at a large-scale business transformation project for a Canadian insurance company. Before joining Deloitte, Omar performed a benchmarking exercise for a South African coal mining company, and they also worked at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Growth, where they were responsible for policy research and supporting job creation programs. Overall, Omar Shabbir has a strong background in management consulting and has delivered successful results in various projects.

Omar Shabbir holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management degree and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo.
