Faiyaz Chowdhury

Faiyaz Chowdhury is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in banking compliance and internal audit. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Wholesale Bank Compliance Assurance at ING since November 2019, Faiyaz previously held the position of Managing Director, Head of Internal Audit for Wholesale Banking - EMEA at ING Nederland from January 2011 to November 2019. Prior roles include positions in internal audit at Credit Suisse and audit and assurance at Price Waterhouse Coopers, as well as an analyst role at Deutsche Bank. Faiyaz holds a Master of Science in Project Analysis, Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Economics from the University of York, and completed education at the United World College of the Atlantic.
