Hein Koolen

Hein Koolen has extensive experience in operational risk management, primarily at ING since July 2001, where roles have included Head of ORM ING Hubs and Head of Operational Risk Management for various regions. Earlier experience includes positions at ING InterAdvies, where duties spanned from Operational Risk Manager to project management for commercial software development, as well as consulting roles at Oasis BV focusing on Management Information Systems. Hein's career began in the public sector with the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer and VKBO, and included military service as Treasurer for the Algemene Vereniging van Nederlandse Militairen. Education includes a degree from Utrecht University and ongoing studies at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance.
