Mei Yoke Yau

Mei Yoke YAU is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within major financial institutions. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Lending for the APAC region at ING since May 2025, Mei has previously held significant positions at Standard Chartered as Managing Director and Head of Local Corporates from March 2020 to May 2025, and at HSBC from January 2006 to February 2020, where roles included Head of Diversified Corporate Banking and Country Head of Mid-Market Enterprises. Prior experience includes a tenure as Vice President at DBS Bank and an Assistant Vice President role at OCBC. Mei holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
