Deepti Singh has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. Deepti is currently serving as the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at InGel Therapeutics, Inc. since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Fellow at Mass. Eye and Ear and Harvard Medical School starting from February 2018.

Before joining Mass. Eye and Ear, Deepti worked at Yale School of Medicine where they held the position of Associate Research Scientist from July 2016 to February 2018. Deepti also served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Yale School of Medicine from January 2015 to June 2016, where they focused on the development of 3D model systems for retinal regeneration and the designing of polymeric materials for culturing stem cells.

In addition, Deepti worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow/ International Research Professor at Yeungnam University from January 2011 to December 2014, and as a Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from November 2008 to January 2011.

Deepti Singh obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biotechnology/ Genetics from Dr M G R Educational and Research Institute in 2010. Deepti also holds a degree in Microbiology from the University of Madras, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001.
