Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (ASX: INA) at Ingenia Communities Group

Simon Owen has a diverse range of work experience in the senior living and tourism industry. Simon served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ingenia Communities Group, leading Australia's largest owner of seniors rental villages and manufactured housing estates. Simon also held a role as a Non-Executive Director of Big 4 Holiday Parks, overseeing the operations of 180 holiday parks across the country. Additionally, Simon was a Council Member for the Retirement Living Council and served as President & Director of the Retirement Villages Association. Earlier in their career, they held executive positions with ING Community Living Group and Aevum Limited, where they played key roles in managing and expanding their respective portfolios. Simon's experience also includes financial roles with MIM Holdings Ltd and AGL Petroleum.

Simon Owen attended St Josephs College, Gregory Terrace from 1981 to 1986, where they completed their Senior studies. In 1987, they enrolled at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Business degree, specializing in Accounting.
