Board Member Representing Employees at Ingenico

Arnaud Lucien’s entire career has unfolded within Ingenico Group, from 2000 to 2003 as Software Development Consultant on integrated payment solutions for the Retail & Petrol market in France, then from 2003 onwards as Project Manager on pan-European solutions. In 2007, he joined the team in charge of the software development environment in the Group’s Research & Development entity. In 2012, he took the lead of this team and contributed to its growth by gradually building it up. Now, the scope of this team has expanded to include the entire chain of tools required for the continuous integration of embedded software as well as the tools and APIs facilitating the roll-out of the new Android-based terminal range.

In addition to these operational duties, Arnaud Lucien has dedicated 7 years to staff representation as a member of the Works Council. Through his dedication, he has successfully contributed to furthering the social dialogue at the company and to improving mediation between the employees and management. He has thus developed a deep understanding of the staff representative bodies and their operations. His particular interest in economic and strategic issues led him to act as representative of the Works Council to the Board of Directors from 2015 to 2018.

In September 2018, he joined the Ingenico Group Board of Directors as the director representing the employees. He brings to the Board a new perspective of the payment world through his knowledge of the subject and through his experience with software development and related technological environments. Considering his duties, Arnaud Lucien has a keen awareness of Ingenico Group, its organisation, its human capital, and how it has been built.

Arnaud Lucien earned his degree in engineering from ENSICAEN, with mention of international curriculum and specialisation in electronic banking and IT security.
