Elie Vannier

Elie Vannier's career includes experience in various fields notably industry, corporate banking and journalism.

After several years working in the audiovisual industry, Elie Vannier became Director of Diversification for the Strafor Facom metallurgy group and held this post until 1991.

He was then appointed managing director of the French subsidiary of Deutsche Morgan Grenfell.

In 1997 he went to work for GrandVision where he became the general manager. He has also lectured at Sciences Po in Paris, where he taught strategy and international business development and was president of the Centre for Corporate Governance in France.

Today he is Chairman of the board of directors of the fine chemicals company Hovione Holding (Hong Kong) and a lecturer at Peking University (School of Transnational Law) in China. He is a graduate of Paris I-Sorbonne University.
