Mike Denker

Mike Denker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mike started their career as an Associate Attorney in the Medical Malpractice Defense Group at Hinshaw & Culbertson, where they led litigation and defense for healthcare providers. Mike then joined DLA Piper as an Associate Attorney in the Information Technology Group, where they negotiated and drafted agreements for businesses in the dot-com industry. Following this, Denker worked at Gordon & Glickson LLC as an Associate Attorney in the Transactional Group, representing various entities in commercial transactions.

In 2002, Denker co-founded their own law firm, Denker & Muscarello, LLC, where they served as Principal & Managing Partner. At the firm, they supported clients of all levels with general corporate and business law needs. Mike handled matters such as buyouts, acquisitions, commercial contracts, and dispute resolution.

Denker also had roles outside the legal field. Mike was a Member at 1871, a digital startup community in Chicago, where they supported the city's technology and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Additionally, they were the Founder and CEO of Transactency, a company focused on revolutionizing the contract creation and negotiation process.

In their most recent position, Denker joined INGENIOUS.BUILD as the Chief Legal Officer. Mike held various roles within the company, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer, before assuming their current position. INGENIOUS.BUILD is an innovative solutions leader in the AECO Industry, providing a data-driven platform to enhance project efficiency and reduce tech spend.

Mike Denker earned their Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, in English Literature from the University of Southern California from 1988 to 1992. Mike then attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained their Juris Doctorate degree.
