Remy Gendron

Remy Gendron has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Remy founded Ingeno in 2008 and served as a Board Director. Prior to that, they owned Arrova from 2007 to 2014.

In terms of their professional experience, Remy was a Senior Architect and Team Leader at Taleo from 2004 to 2007. Remy played a key role in articulating the technical vision for new products and business opportunities. Remy also led a team of 15 senior architects, overseeing software stack selection, in-house framework developments, software construction pipelines, and best practices.

Before joining Taleo, Remy worked at Mediagrif as an Architect and Developer from 2000 to 2004. Remy co-architected and developed an in-ram, structured search engine. Additionally, they contributed to its advanced features like free-form query language, unit conversions, phonetic matches, and suggestions.

Remy began their career as a Teacher at Cégep de Sainte-Foy from 1998 to 2000, where they created and taught an introductory software development course with a focus on user interfaces and user experience. Prior to this, they worked at Baan as an Architect, Analyst, and Developer from 1996 to 2000.

Earlier in their career, Remy worked as a Software Developer at CGI from 1994 to 1996 and as a Developer at Elan Informatique in 1993.

Remy Gendron earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Université Laval between 1991 and 1994. In addition to this degree, Remy also obtained two certifications. One is the "Udemy - Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC)" certification from Udemy, which was obtained in May 2017.
