Julian Romero

Julian Romero has a range of work experience in the education sector. Julian started their career at Union College in 2012 as a Summer Residential Advisor. From there, they joined City Year in 2013 as a Corps Member. In 2014, they became a 1st Grade Teacher at Uncommon Schools. Since 2016, Julian has been working at Ingenuity Prep, initially as a Kindergarten Math Teacher and Class Lead, and later as a 2nd Grade Math Teacher and Grade Level Lead.

Julian Romero completed a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. Julian attended this school from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Julian obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Union College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certification as a Teacher, Classroom from the NYC Department of Education in January 2017.
