Lauren Orzechowski

Lauren Orzechowski has extensive work experience in the field of education. Lauren currently serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Ingenuity Prep since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at DC Prep for over a decade, starting in 2010. At DC Prep, they held various positions, including English Language Arts instructional leader and Curriculum developer. Lauren was also a teacher at DC Prep from 2010 until March 2022. Before working at DC Prep, Lauren was a 6-8th grade English Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) from 2005 until 2010.

Lauren Orzechowski completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and English from St. Mary's College of Maryland, from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree in English Language Arts at American University from 2003 to 2005. Lauren also obtained a MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) with a focus on Teaching during the same period at American University.
