Philip McGuire

Philip McGuire is currently the Compositing Supervisor & Head of Office, NY at Ingenuity Studios. Philip has over 8 years of experience in the industry and has worked on a variety of projects, both big and small.

Philip McGuire got their start in the industry at Ember Lab, where they worked as a 2D / 3D Generalist for three years. Philip worked on commercials for some of the biggest brands in the world, including Coca Cola, KFC, and Theirense. Philip also co-VFX supervised the award winning short film "Dust".

In 2014, Philip McGuire made the move to Ingenuity Studios, where they took on the role of Lead Compositor. Philip led teams of compositors and oversaw timely delivery of film, commercial, and music video projects. Some of their most notable credits include "Get Out", "Modern Family", "Colony", and more. Philip has also worked on commercial projects for brands such as Smirnoff, NASCAR, Fiat and more.

In their current role as Compositing Supervisor & Head of Office, NY at Ingenuity Studios, Philip McGuire is responsible for leading a team of compositors and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Philip McGuire received their Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts from Chapman University.

They are on a team with Annie Carrillo - Director of Workplace Experience, Jai Bhatia - Chief Technology Officer, and Alex Popkin - Director, Motion Design & Animation.
